NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – December 2, 2009 - Connotate, a leading provider of solutions that transform web data and web content into high-value information assets, today announced that it was named to the EContent 100 list, which recognizes the top 100 companies in the digital content industry, by EContent Magazine. Connotate was recognized by EContent for its Agent Community GEN2 software which feeds content products, enables mass data aggregation and integration, and enhances market and business intelligence. This award is Connotate’s latest recognition in a year boasting several other technology, leadership and product innovation achievements.

EContent 100 companies are selected by a global panel of 14 judges. Nominations are based on company business performance, activities over the past year and impact on the digital content industry. The panel consisted of editors and specialists from the EContent team as well as other Information Today, Inc. editors.

The judges noted Connotate’s product adaptations and innovations when selecting Connotate for inclusion on the EContent 100 list for 2009.
