Connotate Announces Promotion of Beverly Hutzel to VP Operations

Experienced Professional to Lead Operations, Services, and Support

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – 16 June 2005 - Connotate Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of Web Mining and Web Interaction solutions, today announced the promotion of Beverly A. Hutzel to Vice President of Operations. The newly created position will provide operational leadership for the company and have responsibility for infrastructure, services, and customer support. She will report directly to Bruce Molloy, President and CEO of Connotate.

“Bev Hutzel brings to Connotate the extensive experience and versatile skill set required to lead these key operational areas,” Mr. Molloy said.  “During the past year, she has demonstrated both leadership and excellence in execution. These strengths, combined with her entrepreneurial spirit and creativity, have contributed significantly to Connotate’s overall growth.”

With over 20 years of national and international business experience, Ms. Hutzel’s expertise spans the financial, pharmaceutical, and software industries. She has held Director and VP positions with Dendrite International and C3i, Inc., respectively, the two largest Pharmaceutical services organizations in the country.  She had also managed PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Infrastructure Steering Committee and served as Director of Professional Services with Peregrine Systems, a leading infrastructure software company. Earlier in her career, she co-designed and managed Dun & Bradstreet’s award-winning Customer Support Center software infrastructure platform.

What drew Ms. Hutzel to Connotate was the compelling market opportunity created by its unique intelligent Agent technology.  According to Ms. Hutzel “Connotate has gone to market with the right product, at the right time, and is positioned to leverage the momentum and excitement generated by search. Their potential market is huge, and Connotate is located near the epicenter of major business sectors that gain competitive advantage from their solution: finance; publishing and media; and pharmaceuticals.”

Connotate’s product, the Information Agent Suite™, provides an intuitive platform for organizations to create Agents which extract content and interact with Web sites.  “Clients have consistently told us that there is no other solution in the marketplace like Connotate’s. We have enabled clients to “tame the web” by providing reliable, consistent, formatted feeds of business-critical information.”

Beverly majored in Accounting at Montclair State University, and has recently published a seminar entitled Managing Your Career and Life Balance. Beverly has won consistent praise for her business insight, and is a highly-regarded conference speaker.
