Tom Meyer, CEO
As Connotate’s CEO, Tom Meyer leads the company’s strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Connotate, he was general manager of Iron Mountain’s Digital Record Center, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) content management offering and MassNetComm’s Cloud Computing Product of the Year. Previously, he was CEO of Russet Communications, a wireless telecom company which he bought, rebuilt and sold.
Tom brings a technical and financial perspective to business, having worked in software and consulting as well as venture capital and banking. He received a BS in Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management and has done business in 40 countries.

Vincent Sgro, CTO
Vincent Sgro guides the development of Connotate's core technology. Prior to Connotate, Vincent served as research programmer for the computer science department at Rutgers University. He also served as the Internet evangelist at Rutgers, developing key Intranet and Internet sites to engage and benefit University students, professors, researchers and alumni.
Vincent is a published academic expert in compiler optimization technologies. He holds an MS and BS in Computer Science (cum laude) from Rutgers University.

Matt Jacobson, Senior Vice President, Channels & Operations
Matt Jacobson leads Connotate's channels, services and operations areas. With over 20 years of high-tech industry experience and executive roles in two Deloitte Fast 500 companies, Matt has a wealth of knowledge regarding technology and business life cycles. His experience includes leadership and expertise in sales, partner relationships, software product development, consulting, research and development, professional services, customer support and project management.
Prior to starting his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Matt received a BS in Computer Science with Honors from Pennsylvania State University and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Gina Cerami, Vice President of Marketing
Gina Cerami directs the marketing strategy for Connotate. She has more than 20 years of marketing and project management experience. For the past 15 years, she has focused on building brand awareness for a variety of solution providers, including Aspen Technology and Cendant Corporation’s Travelport Division.
Gina has a BS from Rutgers University and an MBA in Marketing and Quantitative Analysis from Seton Hall University.

Isai Shenker, Vice President of Product Management
Isai Shenker sets and directs execution of the product strategy for Connotate. Most recently, he was SVP of Product Management at CONTEXTWEB – an integrated digital media services company. Isai’s broad technology and business knowledge is a result of over 20 years of experience in software product development, product management and business development. After starting his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, he has served in leadership and key executive roles in both start-up and mature environments in such companies as JP Morgan, Call Sciences and IDT.
Isai holds a BS in Computer Science (summa cum laude) from Polytechnic University and an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Christian Giaretta, Director of Client Services
Chris has a deep understanding of Connotate and its product giving him the skills and understanding to lead multi-stage deployments of Connotate’s Agent Community on a global scale. He has more than 10 years of client services experience; leading teams in project management, account management, training and integration efforts. He’s a proven liaison to Connotate’s customer community, with a deep understanding of customer applications.
Chris graduated from Rutgers College with a BA in English and Political Science.

Liam Donohue, Co-Founder and Managing Director, .406 Ventures
For the last 15 years, Liam has been a venture investor – starting as a Principal at Foster Management, a venture investor focused on service industry investments; then co-founding Arcadia Partners, a fund focused on technology-enabled education companies; and finally, co-founding .406 Ventures. Over this time, Liam has invested over $75M of capital in 15 investments. He currently serves on the boards of .406 portfolio companies BIA, Connotate, EnergyHub, WellAWARE and WoodPellets.com. Liam also sat on the board of Health Dialog (an Arcadia and .406 company) until its sale to BUPA in January 2008.
Liam has a BS in Chemistry from Georgetown University, where he was a John Carroll Scholar, and earned an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
Graham Brooks, Principal, .406 Ventures
Graham Brooks is involved in all aspects of the investing and portfolio management process and also leads the university outreach initiatives. He brings nine years of technology-oriented operating, investing and start-up experience. Most recently, Graham was Business Development Manager at Bose Corporation where he led the team that identified, evaluated, and structured strategic investment and acquisition opportunities within the digital media and consumer products markets.
Graham is a Kauffman Fellow (Class of 2010). He received his MBA from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business in 2002, where he was a Tuck Scholar; and his BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University.
Dr. Tomasz Imielinski, Connotate Co-Founder and Professor, Computer Science Department, Rutgers University
Dr. Tomasz Imielinski is a Professor in the Computer Science Department of Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ, USA. He has pursued innovations in computer science, database mining and mobile wireless computing, publishing nearly 100 papers and two books on these subjects. In 1991, jointly with Rakesh Agrawal, he co-invented association rule mining, which became one of the key data mining techniques which is included in every major commercial software database package. His joint paper with Agrawal (SIGMOD 1993) is the most cited paper in machine learning and databases in the last ten years. Imielinski's wireless work, supported by industry through Wireless Information Networks Lab (WINLAB) and governmental agencies (DARPA, through the GLOMO program and NSF) includes location dependent information services for mobile users and the higher-level communication protocol support for mobile and wireless environments.
Dr. Imielinski is a coeditor of the book "Mobile Computing" (Kluwer, 1996). He is currently an associate editor for ACM/Baltzer Nomad — Journal of Wireless and Mobile Communications and Computing and editor of journal of Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining. In 1999, he was Program co-Chair for ACM/IEEE Mobicom 99, the primary conference in the area. He was also a founding chair of Voice browser working group at W3C at MIT.
He received his PhD from Polish Academy of Science (Warsaw) in 1982.
Kristin Sanborn, Managing Director, major Wall Street investment bank
Kristin has worked in investment banking for 15 years and is currently a Managing Director at a major Wall Street investment bank. From 1995 to 2001, she worked in structured finance for Bank of America (formerly NationsBank Capital Markets) and JP Morgan Chase (formerly Banc One Capital Markets). She transitioned to asset management while at BOCM in 2001 and oversaw the bank's retained technology, media and telecommunications loan portfolios. Joining her current firm in a similar capacity in 2004, she expanded her industry coverage to include not only TMT but also retail and consumer products.
Kristin has a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Business where she graduated with Distinction. She also earned an MBA from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business where she was a Tuck Scholar.
